Pamarco introduces CTP anilox technology

E-Flow features a new cell screening process that the company says will provide better ink lay down.

Anilox roll manufacturer Pamarco Global Graphics, Roselle, NJ, USA, has introduced what it describes as the world’s first anilox roll designed to work with computer-to-plate technology: E-Flo.

According to a company statement, E-Flow was developed specifically for the flexible packaging and narrow web markets. The cell formations were created in conjunction with Pamarco’s New Era ceramic coating technology, which allows for faster press speeds with less blade wear and a higher resistance to doctor blade scoring.

E-Flo technology features a new cell angle profile that the company says will provide a more consistent and increased ink lay down. This cell angle profile now allows printers to work with the expanded color gamuts, in particular high definition or Opaltone technology, without concern about the angles clashing with the printing plate.
